New Blog alert!

To make things a little less congested here, with personal posts totally overwhelming the business ones, I’ve set up a new blog. Strictly for client images, specials and info. And some photography tips from time to time. In particular I will be moving the Storyboard tutorials over there very soon. The new blog can be found at:

Lisa Barnes Photography Blog

Please add it to your Bloglines or whatever system you have. Did I mention I LOVE Bloglines?? I’m a blog junkie.

This blog will continue. And I WILL get on with documenting the family trip!

And yes, I failed miserably on my Photo a Day for January project. Way too ambitious. But we did have loads of fun!

Gone….for a while….

We’re off tomorrow for the holiday of a lifetime!

Firstly we are staying a few nights with a very old friend of mine in Singapore. Well, she’s not very old actually. She’s my age. But I haven’t seen her in a very long time. Then it’s a few days in London, before we fly down to meet the rest of my family in the South of France. My parents have rented a lovely Chateau in what promises to be a beautiful little riverside town. Sounds idyllic, and I can’t wait.

We’ll get a few days in Paris before flying out to LA for Disneyland, then finally home again.

Might I say right now that packing for 5 people is quite a nightmare. I just had no idea. Five people for a month living out of suitcases. It will be interesting.

If anyone needs me between now and then please email me through the website. I’ll be checking things periodically but please do give me a bit of time.

I’ll be open for business again commencing Monday 13th October.

Until then 🙂

A little apology….

This wee apology is for those who have tried to look at my website lately and been horrified by the state of it! Missing galleries, strange layouts…. All things good are on the horizon though. Thank goodness. I’m working on the new website right now, and should have it online within the week. Hopefully… The best things about the new site? Large images. And a shopping cart. Those who have grappled with my order form will bless me for that one!

This blog will be next. Soon.

Christmas Card Sessions & Final 2007 Sessions

Our Annual Christmas Shoot for this year will be held on:

Saturday 3rd November

Sessions on this day are only $25, that’s a saving of $75 on our regular sessions! These sessions are held at my Pitt Town studio.

Christmas Card pricing is $30 for the first 10 cards and $20 for each additional set of 10.

Of course you aren’t limited to Chrissy pics on the day, and the rest of our property is available to you should you prefer to steer away from studio shots!

Please drop me an email ASAP if you’d like to reserve a time.

There are just a few Saturday sessions remaining available now for 2007, so for anyone who wants to get in this side of Chrissy, snap one of these up before they go!

Saturday 10th November

Saturday 24th November

And of course, I’m taking bookings now for early 2008!
